Boed iti ddringo grisiau’r sér – Enamel Plate
Hand forged copper sheeting made into a plate form with layers of glass enamel fused to the metal. Buddug inscribes into the layers of enamel with a Welsh words that reads ‘Boed iti ddringo grisiau’r sêr’ a line from a traditional Welsh poem. It roughly translates a ‘Go climb the stars ladders/Reach for the stars’.
Each plate is individually made so all look slightly different to the picture and have their own personality.
