Returns Policy

Products may be returned for a refund provided that the customer notifies us of their intention to return the products within 14 days of receiving the order, and the products are then returned to us within 14 days of that notification, in accordance with this policy.

Sale items may be returned for a refund within 14 days of receipt of the order, provided that they comply with this policy.

All products must be returned in their unused, original condition, with tags attached where applicable. Incomplete, damaged, worn, soiled or altered products or anything that Cwt Tatws reasonably believes has been used before being returned will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer. Where an item is supplied with a hygiene strip or seal, it can only be returned if the strip or seal has not been removed or broken.

Certain types of products may not be returned including, without limitation: (i) any products that are personalised, bespoke or have otherwise been made to order; (ii) unsealed beauty items, including any cosmetics or fragrances that have been opened, tested or used; (iii) perishable goods; (iv) pierced jewellery (e.g. earrings); (v) any items that are specified as being non-returnable at the point of purchase.

Refunds will be made back to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods. If a promotional discount was applied to your order, the same discount will be applied when calculating your refund, such that the amount refunded will reflect the actual price you paid for the goods. Where all or part of your purchase was paid for with a Cwt Tatws gift card, your refund will be in the form of a gift card (up to a maximum of the value of your gift card), with any balance of your refund returned to your original payment method. Where you make a purchase using your gift card, you will not be entitled to a cash refund in any circumstances.

We reserve the right to refuse transactions or suspend accounts where we identify unusual or excessive returns activity.

This Returns Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, including, where applicable, your right to cancel an order placed on the website within 14 days of receipt of your order and your rights in respect of faulty or defective goods. For more information on your statutory rights, we recommend that you contact your local Citizens Advice or Trading Standards Office. If you would like to exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us of this decision by a clear statement, including your name, address, contact details and details of the order you wish to cancel. Nothing in this Returns Policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Products supplied by us must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If products are faulty, damaged or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in accordance with your legal rights.

Unless a product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for the cost of returning products to us.

If you exercise your statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your cancellation. You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Cwt Tatws In-Store Returns Policy: Our in-store returns policy allows an exchange or store credit within 7 days of purchase date, provided that goods are returned in their original condition, with unopened packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase. Goods without proof of purchase cannot be returned. Approved returns will be issued by way of Cwt Tatws store credit or gift card only. No cash or card refunds will be given.

The following items purchased in-store are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged: custom-made items; personalised items; special orders; pre-loved items; vintage items; earrings; toiletries; cosmetics; fragrance products (including candles and home fragrance); food and drink items; gift cards; and any items marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase.

Sale items and items purchased in-store during promotional events cannot be returned or exchanged.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights, including your rights in relation to faulty or misdescribed goods.
